Different Options to Choose From
Standard Excess
All rental cars have Comprehensive Cover With Standard Third Party Insurance (without excess) and are insured in case of accidents. The renter is responsible for the chosen excess options. This insurance covers most of the vehicle replacement value, but the renter will be held accountable for the outstanding excess amount as chosen in the rental agreement. The chosen excess option will be blocked (authorization only) on the credit card (Master or Visa) provided before hand-over of the vehicle. This amount is automatically cancelled when the car is returned without any problems and/or damage.
The renter is liable for all the damages to the rented vehicle up to the chosen excess level, despite who caused the accident or is found guilty. This also applies in case the damages/ or accident was caused by a third party.
